collage :)

i made a collage out of random magazine pics for the front of my next journal! :D I've never done it before... so i need your help--i'll tell you with what at the end...

Now, the only problem is, none of it is attached! That's my problem... i *strongly dislike* glue, so i'm not going to use a glue stick, but i can't take them all up to put tape on it, then put 'em back on in the right positions, etc... i think (almost) the only choice i have is to pour/put white glue all over it b/c it will dry clear... any suggestions?

hamlet review... i suppose...

for my lit class i had to read Hamlet by William Shakespeare... note "i had." i'm going to call this a review: i did not like the book at all. it was kind of awful. hamlet is a total chauvinist, ophelia is a wreck, and claudius is, well, claudius is claudius. i sort of understand ophelia's "turn for the worse" because hamlet literally treats her like trash. but hamlet is trash... so Hamlet is just one big garbage-fest... jkkkk ophelia isn't trash. but claudius (and some would say gertrude, too) definitely is trash. i mean, he murdered his brother so he could steal the throne. come on. D:

so. the plot is very mixed up, the characters are definitely messed up, and the reading is really really hard. i got the half old English, half modern English version, but we were supposed to read the old. yeeeah, it was difficult. the story is very dark, too, if you know how to read between the lines.

if you couldn't quite tell, i'm not a big fan of shakespeare. in fact, i avoid him at all costs. my fam read Romeo and Juliet for shcool last year, but we didn't finish it because of all the bad bad bad "jokes"... ick. i consider him an inappropriate writer.

just my view, tell me whatcha think... i do not recommend Hamlet. (or any shakespeare for that matter, although i have only read 2. so you decide...)

reuben wants me to write a post... so i'm writing a post!! i got to hold a brain today!!! i went to a brain dissection thing with a brain surgeon... it was actually pretty cool :) he talked about all the different parts of the brain. which part controls which... =] the brain was much gooier than i thought it would be!! it was kinda gross... :\ haha i need to go fini my math.. . adios!!
