this morning it was 8.5 degrees. that's some serious brr'in'! i was sick this morning so thankfully i didn't have to go out in that hawkish weather to deliver them ridiculous newspapers (my lovely sister did it for me :D haha check out her blog: tadoodle.blogspot.com)... i was informed that it was -77 degrees on Mt. Washington the other day... ouch... i can't wait till spring, much less summer!...

histograms, vade mecums, & #70

Hello all dear commenter-

Today in this post I will talk about 3 things: Vade mecums, Histograms, and Post Number 70.

To the FIRST SUBJECT, and most interesting, I suppose...

VADE MECUMS

Hm, that is an unfamiliar noun to you, I presume? Well, for an explanation: A Definition-

va⋅de me⋅cum

 [vey-dee mee-kuhm, vah-]

–noun, plural va⋅de me⋅cums.

1. something a person carries about for frequent or regular use.

2. a book for ready reference; manual; handbook.

In other words, MY BOOK SITUATION!

So I was reading The Hunchback of Notre-Dame when they decided to start a lengthy debate about how alchemy is correct, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I decided that I do not need that junk in my head or in my heart. I know I probably won't even remember a fig of the conversation, but I don't really care because God don't like no alchemy and I don't either! I was about 1/3 through the book and it was rather boring. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST READING THIS BOOK.

As I mentioned before, I am currently reading I Would Die For You by Brent & Deanna Higgins. It is, as I think I mentioned before, FABULOUS! :

And you all should read it! I'm about 1/3 through with that one too.

SECOND SUBJECT: Histograms AND Post Number 70

Yeah, so I decided to combine these two because they are rather boring and I just added them to make this post longer. Although it's probably really long already. Oh well!

Histograms are confusing and this is my 70th post. There ya go! :D

TO SAVE A LIFE review

Last night. To Save A Life. FANTASTIC.

It was really really really good!

The filming was AMAZING; you know how Christian films aren't really very good quality, story-wise and film-wise (sorry guys...)? NOT SO for To Save A Life! The filming, focusing, panning, angles, basically everything about the video was VERY top-notch. The story line and plot were captivating and I EVEN CRIED. I NEVER CRY. That is saying something absolutely astronomical about this movie! The PG-13 rating is, of course, necessary, but the reasons for that rating (drinking, drugs, cutting, suicide, sex) were, I think, somewhat important to add to and enhance the movie. The actors, for the most part, were very real. In the PluggedIn review, there were quotes from the director saying how he prayed over every swear word, praying that people would take it the right way, etc. He felt he should add those things to make it more real. It's a good review if you don't mind spoilers. I think I might have liked to see the movie without the spoilers because then I wouldn't have known some things were going to happen, etc...

Anyways, it is an EXCELLENT movie, and I would recommend it to everyone in the entire world. :)

yeay, i'm 5 ft 7 3/8 in tall :D i grew like a half inch since September... :D yay!

so Curt Schilling likes Scott Brown, right? Well, Martha Coakley said that Schilling is a Yankees fan ;P BAHAha!! Schilling said that just shows how out-of-touch she is with "the people"... lol =D

my mum's friend's family was in a car accident and the friend (the mom) broke either her arm or her shoulder, and her son broke his neck. he has started to regain touch, but can't move AT ALL yet. meaning it's REALLY BAD. prayer, prayer, prayer, prayer needed!! he's 17 and his name is Sam. just ta let ya know. :/
