I want a go/no go on Great Expectations?

Sorry, guys, it's a no go :( So Great Expectations was in practically Aztec-ian English and sooooo long, and it is now sitting in the returns bucket at the library. Maybe I'll try and read it again, but for now, it's a no go. I was about half way through, and there was nothing that really struck me that would make it a classic... besides that it was written by Charles Dickens... (btdubs, he is an EcCeNtRiC writer ;P) The beginning was good, but then it was just long. (Why do i keep finding myself quoting Night at the Museum 2? lol) So maybe you should read it. If you can stand endless meaningless monologue and a "forever plot"... so i'm pretending that's my review ;P
Now I need to say farewell b/c my fam is leaving NOW to go to ny b/c my grandpa had quadruple bypass surgery on monday. *prayer, please, for continued healing and NO INFECTIONS!* so i'm gonna try to find The Giver somewhere in this house so i can read it on the 8-ish hour ride! ta-ta!

not much news...

mmmmm so you didn't see me on Thursday, meaning i didn't get the coveted letter... but there is yet hope! ashlee's came ten days after her acceptance letter, and it's only been seven so far... *fingers crossed*

but other stuff- it rained for like four days or something (i don't know, i was sick for most of them, i'll say something about that in a sec) and the water decided it wanted a new home so it chose our basement! yay us! what a privilege, let me tell ya. thankfully, i've been able to escape vacuum duty becaaaaaaause:
i was sick with a 102(degrees) for two days, friday and saturday, and then i was lower, and then i was lower, and it just kept going down! so now i'm a 95... yeeeah, a little weird, especially considering normal is 98.6... i feel much better, however, and today i was up and about, going to my lit class and everything, which leads me to my next subject: for my Lit/Writing class i have to write a short story. A ShOrT sToRy!?!?!?! aaaaaahhhh!! and i had 2 days to write it because i was sick Wed. to Sun.! oooooh my gosh... i read that short stories are the hardest to write and from my little experience, i would agree... ugh.
ok, last subject: my camera. my wonderful Canon 20d with a 17-85mm macro lens... that needs to be serviced!?! *sobs* the lens has problems... it's so sad... and now we're doing some of the interesting assignments for photography class like head shots and full body shots w/props... i have to get it serviced before our Boston field trip, too... cuz i'll be taking LOTS of pics...

WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE LOVELY TROPICAL 50's?!?!?!

this morning it was 8.5 degrees. that's some serious brr'in'! i was sick this morning so thankfully i didn't have to go out in that hawkish weather to deliver them ridiculous newspapers (my lovely sister did it for me :D haha check out her blog: tadoodle.blogspot.com)... i was informed that it was -77 degrees on Mt. Washington the other day... ouch... i can't wait till spring, much less summer!...

i don't have much else to share with y'all one commenter...

Whoopee! I LOVE being sick on my birthday! lol... i just turned 14 i think a couple minutes ago! well, sometime today, atleast ;P Hannah's still 13, though!! in a couple of hours she'll be 14... okey dokey, this is the boring-est post EVER!

HELP ME!

Does anybody ANYWHERE know how to fix this?! My sidebar is at the bottom of the page! :O what is wrong with it? :( I can't figure this out!

Almost my whole family has a cold :( Tori, Dad, and Mom are the only ones without. Luckies. Mine is just a generally stuffy/runny nasal passage, Ashlee's is kinda flu-ish, and Reuben's is... well, Reuben's is Reuben's ;P
