This is my favorite month! Want to guess why?? Well, because of Christmas (of course) and it's my birthday month! :D

It's December and there still isn't any snow on the ground! There's supposed to be "few snow showers" on Saturday, but that will all melt. And then there's *whoopee.* MORE rain showers :( ugh... i think we've had enough rain this season to water Africa! ;P

Is that all Thanksgiving means to us?

A day to sit down at a well-spread table and chow down on some scrumptious fowl?

Or is it 24 hours that we've set apart as a day to celebrate and thank the only One who could have given us this scrumptious fowl and spread?

The word "Thanksgiving" is made up of two- also known as a compound word. Thanks and Giving. If we were to switch these two words around, what would it say? "Giving Thanks", right? And that's what this holiday should be all about. So as we sit down to a wonderful spread and our scrumptious fowl, I hope that as we thank the ladies (<3)>made this meal (including the scrumptious fowl).

Hmm... I'm thinking I'm gonna start putting reviews on books! there are all these great Christian movie, tv show, and music review websites (pluggedinonline.com is a great one, btw), but i've never seen a book one! and books can be bad, too (trust me, i know). I've read quite a few books... ;P So tell me what you think! I also had an idea that i could have a list of books-to-read and -not-to-read :)

Hey! right now I'm reading a book called Authentic Beauty by Leslie Ludy (haha that rhymes!), and it's really good! you all should read it :) On the front cover it says "the shaping of a set-apart young woman"! :D Check out the website. They have conferences about it and they look soo good, but it's in CO! It's May 28-30 (2010)... and it's $200 per person, so I think we should get a group of girls from our YG and *haha* Sunday School to go! That would be so awesome! Haha... except for the part about CO being in the middle of the US and we're on the East coast... :( and plane tix being like $400 one-way... I enjoy dreaming. Until I get yanked back to reality.

There were actually some redeeming qualities-- Efron, during health class, stands up for abstinence and waiting till marriage. he makes this big huge (awesome) speech about how great it is to hold your baby girl etc. It was really cute :)

Sooo it's definitely not appropriate for young kids (aka my brother) or necessarily guys in general... but it was a cute chick-ish flick ;P

Muslims on Capitol Hill

Last Friday, at Washington D.C., Muslims in America declared an Islamic day of prayer. They went to the White House and prayed on the front lawn.

-Here is the Islam website for the day.

-Here is a Christian website article against the day. (I don't know anything about the writer)

The leader of "Islam on Capitol Hill" said, "The White House will become the Muslim House." If that doesn't scare you, I don't know what will. Mr. Obama said while he was in a Muslim nation (I'm not sure which one), that we [America] do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, a Jewish nation, or a Muslim nation. I, personally, think he should speak for himself (Mr. Barack *Hussein* Obama...).

So, we need to be praying for our country!!

Another thing we can pray for is that, since the Muslims in

their own countries cannot be reached, we can pray that

God speaks to them in visions and dreams--- and it is

happening! Muslims have claimed to be seeing visions of

God. This is virtually the only way they can be reached!

I just want to say (besides everything else I have already

said ;P) that Muslims won't accept any other religion in their

country, but then they expect to be accepted everywhere

they go! How does that work??

Well, tell me your views and opinions! I want to know!

Water balloons!!

The past three days here have been the hottest of the summer- yesterday was in the hundreds, I think! So today we decided to play with some water balloons! I didn't get very many pictures (cuz I was playing with the water balloons, and what is the first word?? Water, right. Water + camera = not good.) But here is one of, rather the only pic of the balloons:

For this school year i'm taking a Photography class and I need a camera! So I'm working on getting a DSLR, specifically this one. I'm buying it from one of Tori's teachers for $400!! And he's giving it to me with a battery, battery charger, a lens, and a 2gb memory card!! Compared to a new one on Amazon: I save $1,598.93! Woopee considering that i really don't want to spend more than $400 on a camera right now... ;P

Camp, yet again...

<--- Here's a random avie I made (i like that line :]) I thought I'd maybe post some of my notes from chapel [at Camp] since I have nothing better to put up... haha lol :P The theme this year was "Redpoint- a climbing term that refers to attempting a climb that you posses previous knowledge of, such as a failed attempt." aka climbing. 7/26 - Sunday Night (the day I got there): Jodi was talking about everything in a climbing perspective (cuz that was the theme), so When you're climbing, you need to trust your belayor - God - because: ~He is the only one strong enough to catch you when you fall. ~He watches you all the time. ~and He is the only one who loves you enough. Some questions: How are you climbing? Are you standing on the ground? I don't know if any of y'all are familiar with climbing, but when you are climbing a good belayor will help you by telling you good handholds and where to go next. How do you climb? Are you listening to the belayor? The verse for the week (we memorize it and there are motions): Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight." That's all I'm going to put for today... most of my notes are questions... In Memory of Snoopy

In Loving Memory of Snoopy A Loyal Pet, A Loyal Friend July 24, 2003 - July 23, 2009 A dear friend was lost today. He was a floppy-ear dwarf mixed rabbit. He was also a loving friend. He will be missed. But we know he is now in a better place. Tomorrow was his birthday. He lived (under our care) to be five years and three-hundred sixty-four days. We got him from our friends who were moving back to England. If they were to take him with them, Snoopy would have to spend somewhere around a year in quarantine. So we took him. He was already a couple years old. So we have reason to believe he died of old age. I couldn't find a picture of him, but maybe you can find one on one of Tori's old blogs: Her photography one or her regular one. Well, that's that. The End.

Revolution soccer and Rockport

Last night me, my fam, and a bunch of our friends went to a Revolution game!! woopee!! i <3 Wells Thompson! After the game, him, Kevin Alston, Edgarus Jankauskas(lol i <3 his name!), and Emmanuel Osei were signing peoples stuff. Thompson was soo nice! And polite- when my aunt asked if we could get a picture with him and he was signing somebody elses shirt he said "Sure, one second, MA'AM." He was smiling the whole time LOL he has a HUGE smile. when he signed my shirt i said "thanks alot!" and he gave me (that sounds so weird... like, "he handed me" lol) a HUMONGOUS smile and i thought, "woah, i didn't think your smile could get any bigger!" haha =D we only got Thompson's and Edgarus Jankauskas' signatures. but that's ok! ;) mum took the pic of us w/Thompson on Ashlee's camera and she won't let me put it on here. whatever... she said she'll put it on her blog. here's her blog- tadoodle.blogspot.com, and you can check it if u really want to see it. (btw i'm the 2nd from right [next to Thompson] for those of u who don't know me, so you can come stalk me LOL) So, yesterday was REALLY fun :) there weren't very many good pics on my mum's camera, but i'll go check to see if any are worthy of putting on here... ... ... nope. none of the pics are worthy. oh well... :) a lady who sold us our Twellman "jerseys" said that the reason why he hasn't been playing is because he doesn't want to be on the team anymore!! why not, i have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA! he has, like, a dream job!! he gets to play soccer and everybody loves him! and he always looks so happy, too... idk... Anyways, last Wednesday me, Ashlee, Reuben, Mum, and my friend Rebecca went to Rockport!! i love that place!! i want to move there! LOL there are ALOT of pics from that trip- and they're all worthy: but i have to wait for my mum to finish taking pictures [with her camera that has all the pics from Rockport] of the cement mixer dudes pouring the cement into our foundation for our addition. ... ... ok, i got it back. here's a movie with the pictures! ::LATER:: i tried to upload a movie i made on Windows Movie Maker and it said there was an "error" and i needed to "contact support". what do i do?! i looked on the Blogger help forum and people said you have to upload it to Youtube then put it on your blog!! i don't have or want (well, maybe i do...) an account. Spiderman and a scary bill

yaaaay!! i watched the first spidey!! my dad bought the first and second spideys, so now we get to watch them whenever we want!! yay!! i don't think there is anyone else on earth who gets as enthusiastic as me about things i experience that i enjoy :) like now i'm a big fan of spiderman!! =D has anybody else heard about that crazy bill that is going to be debated on wednesday at the State House?? it's a transgender bill and some of the things it will allow are that: -Males who think they are females or "feel female" will be allowed in ladies bathrooms. -If you speak up against homosexuals you can get arrested. there are ALOT of reps for this bill! what happened to our "Freedom of Speech"?? we really need to pray about this and tell your parents to CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!!

two nights ago i watched Spiderman 2 :) haha that was a good movie! and a bad idea-- cuz now i want to watch the other 2!! Game 1: Friday, June 26, 11:00 AM Result: Loss, 4-1 Ashlee scored the goal for us!! :) Game 2: Friday, June 26, 5:00 PM Result: Loss, 3-0 There is now no way we can get to Sunday... :( Game 3: Saturday, June 27, 12:30 PM Result: Loss, 4-0

End Notes: ~~We went to States and were 0-3!! ~~Ashlee scored the only goal for us during the tournament =D ~~Eleven (11) people from my team are moving up, a.k.a. not going to be on the team next year :( boohoo! ~~There will only be five (5) people left on the team from this year next year. This includes me, making me a/the senior on the team (why the senior?? i'm the only one out of the 5 who has been on that team 2 years already. everyone else of the 5 just came on the team last year) :) i get to "set an example" for all the newbs ;P ~~The U14 guys (div. 1) from the town where i live(stalker...) got to States too. They won their first game and lost their second, but idk how they did on their third game- whether they got to Sunday or not...?

so guess what happened????? last saturday, we all played the FANTASTICAL game of "sthoccer" (yay beeen! <- that's a url) and we won 3-2. it was a tough game! we scored the winning goal in, like, the last minutes... we're goin' to STATES!!!!!!!!! woopee!!! yay 4 us =P oh, and i hurt my pinkee... i fell on it tip down and i thought i broke it. but i got an x-ray and it's only "badly bruised". but it hurts!! so... yup :)

(here comes summer!) lol but my sizzes had class day today, prom's tonight (now), graduation iiiiiiiisss... saturday i think... and... yup! no more school!! next year i'll start taking tests... yeah. now i need to go watch Pride & Prejudice ... good movie... :)

so everybody guesssss... my soccer team is going to MTOC qualifications!!!!!!!! (for lower divisions, it's called Commissioner's Cup and they can't get to Mass.TournieOfChamps :( poor them) yippee!!!!!! last sat. (two days ago) my team played the last place team {who, btw, hadn't scored a goal all season and were 0-7-1} and we beat them 2-0!! i scored, my first goal EVER in travel soccer, but the ref called it offsides... AND IT WASN'T!!!!!! there were, like, six girls between moi and the goal!! W... so anywho i'm wicked excited for this next saturday :) i hope i score a goal... wish me... i dunno... ice cream! <3
